WHAT TO EXPECT

What To Expect

The people that make up Life Christian Church come from all walks of life, and we have three main things in common: we love our God, we love our church, and we love our community. At Life Christian Church, you can expect to be greeted by a friendly community of believers who demonstrate their faith in their everyday living while continuing to deepen their relationship with God and seek to know him more. In each service, we endeavor to present the message of hope, restoration, and healing.

When you first arrive, one of our friendly volunteers plans to greet you. They are happy to answer any questions you may have and give you guidance. We are so honored when guests choose to visit with us that we give them a gift on both their first and second visits to Life Christian Church, so please make sure you stop by our Welcome Center.

Our Services

Our Sunday morning worship service is designed with the intent of entering into the presence of God with heartfelt worship and giving every individual the opportunity to be exposed to a life-changing word from God. Running concurrently with children’s church for Life Kids up through age 11 and an attended nursery for babies ages 3 months to 30 months, attendees are afforded the opportunity to worship and be impacted by the Spirit of God.

Our Wednesday night worship & Bible study typically last for approximately one hour. We are aware of work & school schedules and endeavor to be respectful of those who must awake early the next morning.

Each of our services are filled with vibrant worship. We clap and lift our hands, sing aloud, and offer heartfelt expressions of worship. Please feel free to worship God in ways you are comfortable with.

If you need assistance at any time during the service, please speak with one of our ushers or greeters. They are happy to help.

Our Nursery

Our nursery is available for children that are 3-30 months old, and fully staffed during our Sunday service at 11AM. A greeter or an usher would be happy to direct you to the nursery when you arrive.

What to Wear

Often attendees are concerned with appropriate dress for service. We want you to be comfortable when you visit, so that choice is up to you. When you’re at one of our services, you’re likely to see a range of styles from jeans to suits. Whether you choose to be casual or dress in your “Sunday best,” all are welcome at Life Christian Church.

In-Service Experience

John 4:23-24 tells us, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

We pray out loud together (Acts 4:24), testify in church (Psalms 22:22), sing (Psalms 98:4), raise our hands to God in praise (Psalms 134:2), worship with musical instruments (2 Samuel 6:5), clap & shout (Psalms 47:1), dance in the Spirit (Psalms 150:4), anoint the sick with oil and pray the prayer of faith (James 5:14-15), and allow the Biblical operation of spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 14:12, 39).
